Cashew Caramel Fudge

½ cup + 2 teaspoon butter, no substitutes, softened
5oz can evaporated milk
2½ cups sugar
12oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
7oz jar marshmallow cream
24 caramels, quartered
¾ cup salted cashew halves
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
Line a 9” square pan with buttered foil, using the 2 teaspoon butter. In a large heavy saucepan, combine milk, sugar and remaining ½ cup butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a rapid boil; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in chips and marshmallow cream until melted. Fold in caramels, vanilla and cashews. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Cool. Remove from pan and cut into 1” squares.
