    Max's Favorite Strawberry dessert

    Crush and mix together
    1 12 oz. box vanilla wafers
    ½ stick melted margarine

    Cream together
    1 stick margarine
    1½ cup sugar
    Add 2 eggs (or egg substitute); one at a time and beat well.

    2 boxes strawberries, sliced
    1 pint whipping cream, whipped

    Press 2/3 of wafers on bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread on creamed mixture and then layer berries. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate several hours or over night.
