Shrimp DeJong

Recipe Introduction
I use to make this when we lived in Alaska & revived the recipe to suit our tastes. This can be used with crab, shrimp or any white, mellow tasting fish - halibut would be an example.
This is a rich casserole, so a nice crunchy tossed salad w/a light dressing & crunchy garlic bread would round it out. Also, I would choose a light dessert.
List of Ingredients
lC white wine
1t salt
1# shrimp, deshelled, cleaned & cut-up
1 cup bread crumbs (appx)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon white pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped, green onions
paprika & parsley for garnish
Recipe
Mix wine & salt; marinate shrimp 6 hours. Drain shrimp on paper towels, dip in bread crumbs & place into greased pan (after cutting the shrimp up, you can just mix them in the crumbs & then put in your pan). Mix together remainder of ingredients, except paprika & parsley. Spread over fish & sprinkle with garnishes. Bake at 400 covered for 20-25 minutes or until shrimp is done & sauce is bubbly. Serve over white, fluffy rice.
