Cherry: Chocolate Cherry Surprise

½ cup butter/margarine, softened
¾ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon juice from maraschino cherries
1½ cups flour
20-25 maraschino cherries, dry
20-25 milk chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips



Recipe

Cream sugar and butter together. Add vanilla, juice and flour. Mix well. Chill dough at least one hour. Stuff each cherry with a chocolate chip, then wrap in a tablespoon of dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Cool. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips in microwave and dip top of cookies in chocolate.
