    Christmas: Holiday Cherry Delight

    List of Ingredients

    1½ cup boiling water
    2-3oz packages cherry Jell-O
    2 cups ice cubes
    1-21oz can cherry pie filling
    4 cups angel food or pound cake cubes
    1½ cups cold milk
    1-3oz package vanilla pudding
    8oz cool whip, thawed and divided

    Recipe

    Stir boiling water into cherry Jell-O in a large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in ice cubes until melted. Stir in cherry pie filling. Place cake cubes in bottom of a 3 quart bowl. Spoon Jell-O mixture over cake. Refrigerate 15 minutes or until set but not firm. Pour milk in large bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat 1 minute. Gently stir in half of the topping. Spoon over Jell-O. Refrigerate 3 hours or until set. Garnish with remaining topping.
