Frozen Chocolate Peppermint Patty Pie

15 thin chocolate wafer cookies
3 large or 9 small chocolate-covered peppermint patties (4-1/2 ounces) broken into bite-size pieces
1 tablespoon water
1 quart chocolate nonfat frozen yogurt or fat-free ice cream
8 ounces frozen fat-free or light whipped topping, thawed (about 3 cupsRecipe
In a food processor, chop cookies into fine crumbs. With machine running, gradually add patties, processing until well blended. Continue processing, adding water to create a coarse crumble texture.
Put frozen yogurt into an 8-inch square baking pan and spread smooth. Cover with whipped topping and crumble the cookie mixture over the top. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and place in freezer for eight hours or up to one week. Let pie sit on counter for about 20 minutes to soften slightly before serving.
