Betty Hearnes, former first lady of our first two term Missouri governor, is a great cook. Here are some of her recipes.

List of Ingredients

1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
1 chicken, stewed and boned
1 small onion, chopped
Chili powder to taste
Frozen tortillas, made with flour, thawed




Recipe

Dip tortillas in chicken broth that you cooked the chicken in; line baking dish like a pie crust. Mix all other ingredients (reserve some cheese mixed with some soup for the topping). Place ingredients over tortillas and place cheese on top.
Bake 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
