Janet Dailey Branson, Missouri Author of many romance novels and mainstream novels , she and her husband Bill[ her manager] live in Branson, Missouri. Her works have sold over 325 million copies in 19 languages in 98 countries, pretty impressive for a girl born in 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa!! Her latest book is " A Capital Holiday" and her 5 book "Calder Series" has captured reader's interest. After penning 57 novels for Harlequin, she and Bill formed the Silhouette Romance Fiction Line. Here is one of Janet's favorites:

List of Ingredients

1 medium onion,grated
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp paprika
1 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup catsup
1/2 cup vinegar



Recipe

Combine all in a screw top jar and shake well. refrigerate to store...shake before using. Makes 3 1/2 cups..
