Dutchman Sweet-Sour Boiled Dressing

3 slices bacon , chopped and fried crisp, set aside. Mix in a bowl:
1 Tab cornstarch
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup sugar
salt and pepper
1 fresh large egg
Whisk together until smooth. Slowly whisk into bacon in skillet and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Pour over salad of:
4 cups torn greens,
a few red radishes sliced and
1 medium onion , thinly sliced...
Dressing can be cooked ahead and chilled. Warm to pour on salad. Will keep a few days chilled..
