Honey-Glazed Bananas

Recipe Introduction
A little bit of honey and butter, a little bit tongue-tingling from the ground red pepper, these grilled bananas are terrific as a side-dish with any grilled island-style dish.
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter/margarine, melted
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 large ripe, yet firm, bananas or plantains
Recipe
In a small bowl, combine butter, honey, vinegar, and red pepper. Peel bananas; cut in half lengthwise. Brush generously with honey mixture. Grill on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium heat about 4 minutes for bananas (8 minutes for plantains) or until browned and warmed through; turn once and brush often with remaining honey mixture.
