    Recipe Introduction


    This is my secret recipe-tee hee-for whenever it is cold. The kitchen sink is probably in there if you look. Oh and if there is something you do not like simply leave it out or substitute something you do.

    1 big onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 or 3 carrots, chopped
    4 to 6 cloves of garlic
    2 large potatoes pared and chopped
    4 oz. butter
    Place ingredients into a large pot in order listed and sauté' in butter.
    For 5 to 10 min.

    Add:

    1 ring of Hillshire Farms beef smoked sausage, skin removed and chopped
    1 big can diced tomatoes
    1 qt. chicken stock-homemade or caned
    1 1-lb.can beans, red or white or pinto
    1 1-lb. can green beans juice and all
    1 1-lb. can whole kernel corn juice and all
    1 large can mushrooms juice and all
    1 large can chopped spinach juice and all
    1T. Salt
    1 ½ t. pepper or 1 t. chili flakes.
    Bring to a boil

    Add:

    1 handful fresh chopped parsley
    ½ head of cabbage chopped small
    Cook until ready to serve at least 20 min.

    Place some peas on top when serving, 1 small package. Frozen peas, thawed
