Noah's Ark was a restaurant in St. Charles, Mo, right on the Missouri River. St. Charles was the first Capitol of the state of Missouri...the building was shaped like an ark with fiberglass animals popping their heads out of the portholes and Noah and his giraffe welcoming you at the entrance...their clam chowder was very popular...when they finally gave out the recipe, everyone was surprised that the base was good old Campbell’s soup...

List of Ingredients

1 can Campbell’s New England Clam Chowder
1 can Campbell’s cream of potato soup
1 can Campbell’s cream of celery soup
1 pint half and half cream
1/2 stick butter [no substitute]
1 can minced clams, drained



Recipe

Mix undiluted soups together and very gradually add cream. Put over low heat. Add butter. Stir until hot...do not boil, add minced clams...serve with oyster crackers...
