of the food we ate , especially on "dates" at Hamburger Heaven, Medart's, and of course the Parkmoor which just closed in the last two years...the following sauce was used on Burgers at Medart's...the hamburger was thin, large and definitely not lean ground round,.. add shredded lettuce, a slice of onion [no tomato or cheese], top with. Medarts is now called Cheshire Inn, home of the Fox and Hound Tavern, great rooms, and the red double Decker London Bus that delivers its diners to the Muny Opera in the summer time...

List of Ingredients

1 cup sweet pickle relish, drained,
1 Tab. prepared horseradish
1 Tab. plain yellow mustard
2 1/2 Tab chili sauce
2 Tab mayo
1/4 tsp Worcestershire
2 Tab finely diced onion
1 1/2 Tab French dressing [opt]
3 drops Tabasco sauce [opt]
dash of salt

Makes one cup...keep chilled...you can adjust the amounts...some like more mustard or onions, less horseradish, etc....anyway it is a winner
