In a heavy saucepan:
1/3 cup boiling water and add 1/3 cup packed brown sugar and slowly stir in:
1 cup white Karo syrup.
Cook slowly until it comes to a boil. Remember to stir gently. Add:
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts.
When cool, pour into jar and cover. Refrigerate. Will thicken when cool..
