Apple Wraps

1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 (12-ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (10 count)
3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 cup apple cider or apple juice
Freshly whipped cream
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter an 8-by-8-inch baking pan. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Dip biscuits into butter, then into cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat. Place three or four apple slices in the center of each biscuit. Fold to enclose filling. Seal edges. Arrange in prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over biscuits. Drizzle apple cider over top. Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Serve warm, topped with freshly whipped cream, if desired. Makes 10 wraps.
