(Substitute white vinegar in place of cider vinegar, if desired.)
List of Ingredients
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
1 cup finely shredded red cabbage
1 cup finely shredded carrot
1 small onion, chopped
Recipe
In a screw-top jar, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, dry mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper; cover and shake well. In a large bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour vinegar mixture over cabbage mixture; toss gently until evenly coated. Cover and chill at least two hours. Makes eight servings.
