Dierberg Marinated Vegetable Salad

Recipe Introduction

a favorite of salad bar customer at the Dierberg Supermarkets in the area...this keeps well refrigerated and most of the ingredients are on hand. You could substitute about 1 bottle of Hendricksons Dressing for the marinade posted..
1 can small peas
1 can shoe peg corn
1 can french style green beans
1 cup diced celery
1cup sliced green onions [include some green part]
1 cup diced green pepper
1 small jar chopped pimentos [opt]

Drain all and place in bowl.

Marinade:

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp water
1/2 tsp salt

Bring to a boil and then cool . pour over vegetables and cover...chill at least 24 hrs for flavor to develop...
