Cheese and Bacon Scones

80g onion
1 bacon rasher finely chopped
300g self raising flour
1 tspn dried mustard
50g chopped butter
40g grated parmesan
1tsbn chopped fresh parsley
Approx 160ml milkRecipe
Cook onion and bacon in a pan, stirring until onion is soft. Drain on kitchen roll and cool.
Sift flour and mustard into a bowl, rub in butter, stir in onion mixture, cheese and parsley.
Stir in enough milk to make a soft, sticky dough.
Turn dough onto floured surface, knead lightly until smooth, press until about 2cm thick and cut into 4cm rounds.
Bake in a hot oven (200c) for 15 mins
