6 spring onions
1 green pepper
250g red Cheddar cheese
300g natural yogurt
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Tabasco sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
paprika or chopped chives
Recipe
Finely chop the spring onions and green pepper, discarding the core and seeds.
Grate the cheese using a fine grater.
Combine all the dip ingredients in a large bowl adding Tabasco, salt and pepper to taste, mix well.
Spoon into a serving dish and chill.
Sprinkle with paprika or chives.
Serve with a selection of savoury biscuits and raw vegetables such as red and green pepper, carrot, celery, cucumber and cauliflower florets.
