5 lb. canned ham
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp gr. cloves
2 cans pineapple rings in heavy syrup
1 1/2 cups apple cider, or juiceRecipe
Remove ham from refrigerator 30 mins before cooking to bring to room temperature.
Preheat oven to 325F.
Remove ham from can, score and place fat side up in a 9X13 inch foil lined baking dish.
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, honey and spices and spread over top of ham.
Place pineapple slices on ham so they overlap each other and pile on top what's left.
Tent ham and bake 1 1/2-2 hours or until thermometer registers 130 degrees F.
Baste every 20 mins or so with the pan juices.
Take out of oven and remove pineapples to serve separately. Very tasty!
Before carving your baked ham, let it rest 15-20 minutes to redistribute juices and firm up the meat.
