    Rachael Ray's Beef and Spanish Rice

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can beef broth
    1 3/4 cups water
    1 tablespoon butter
    2 cups rice
    2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
    2 cups tomato sauce
    2 tablespoons cumin
    salt and pepper

    Combine broth, water and butter, bring to a boil, add rice. Cover and simmer on low for 18-20 minutes. Brown onions and garlic, add beef and brown. Drain fat off and then add the cumin, salt and pepper and the tomato and worchestershire sauce. Simmer on low until the rice is cooked. Put rice in a bowl and the spoon some of the meat on top. Very filling and delicious!
