    Honey Lime Chicken

    Source of Recipe

    Turbo Cooker Yahoo site

    List of Ingredients

4 pcs chicken thighs or boneless chicken breast halves
    1 pcs meduim onion
    1 cup baby carrots
    1 cup fresh green beans

    DRY INGREDIENTS
    ---------------
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    LIQUID INGREDIENTS
    ------------------
    1/2 cup honey
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    1/4 cup lime juice

    GET TURBO READY...
    ------------------
1: Combine the honey, soy sauce & lime juice; mix well. Place chicken in
resealable bag or in shallow dish. Pour honey mixture over chicken & turn to
coat. Seal or cover and refrigerate for 30 to 45 minutes. After marinating,
    reserve 1/4 cup of liquid.

2: Wash vegetables as needed. Peel old skin off of onion and cut into chunks.
Cut stems off of green beans if needed.

    LET's START TURBO COOKING!
    --------------------------
1: Place the chicken in the base of the Turbo Cooker. Combine vegetables in
small steamer basket and place on steamer rack. Coat vegetables with garlic
powder. Cover and cook on HIGH heat for 5 minutes. VALVE CLOSED

2: Flip the chicken over and cook on HIGH for 4 minutes. VALVE CLOSED.

3: Add 1/4 cup of reserved marinade and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes. VALVE
    CLOSED

4: Remove chicken & vegetables from cooker. Allow a few minutes for marinade to
cool down & then use to baste chicken if desired.

USEFUL UTENSILS: Small steamer bowl, mixing bowl or shallow pan, paring knife,
measuring cup, mixing spoon, teflon friendly spatula.

NOTES: As with any sugar or syrup based marinade or sauces, you must be careful
not to overcook as it will scorch. Since not all stoves heat the same, you may
want to monitor the cooker after adding the marinade to the pan & reduce the
heat slightly. The marinade should come to a boil to allow it to carmelize, but
then you can reduce the heat after that. Also the cut & thickness of the
chicken thighs or breast may cause a slight variation. Look for clear juices
from the chicken when you cut into it to ensure it is properly cooked.
