    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg. Italian Flavor Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
    8 oz. (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    1/3 cup marinara sauce
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 can (12 oz.) refrigerated biscuits
    1 egg, lightly beaten with 2 teaspoons water
    2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
    1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)



    Heat oven to 400 F. Combine cooked sausage with next 5 ingredients; add black olives if desired. Press each biscuit into a 5” circle. Spoon 2 heaping tablespoons sausage mixture onto center of each biscuit. Moisten the edges of the dough with a small amount of water; fold dough over mixture to form half-moon-shaped pockets. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush egg mixture on top of each pocket. Sprinkle with oregano and Parmesan cheese. Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown. Discard any remaining egg mixture.

    Makes 10 pockets
