    Recipe Introduction


    This is a second favorite side from YB or Larry Ward and since I have just noticed that fact, from now own he will also be thought of as Pie Man. A absolutely great pie and what better reason to get going on that tomatoe garden (hint - it takes lots of lime).


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 9 in deep dish frozen pie shell
    • 3 med, ripe tomatoes, sliced
    • 6 strips of bacon fried and crumbled
    • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup mayo
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper


    Instructions


    1. Bake frozen pie shell following pkg directions. Preheat cooker cooker to 350. Place tomatoes in bottom of pie shell; top with crumbled bacon. Combine cheese, salt, pepper and mayo; pour over tomatoes. Bake 35 to 40 min on raised grid using sitting on a pizza stone.
