8 oz. Fettuccine
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Recipe
Prepare pasta according to package directions, drain.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine over low heat. Blend in cream and cheese and cook over low heat to reduce mixture slightly and melt cheese.
Sauce should not boil. Remove from heat, season to taste with salt and pepper, toss with pasta and serve immediately.
