List of Ingredients
3 cloves garlic
1 whole egg
175 ml oil
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of mustard or cayenne
2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
Recipe
Crush 3 cloves of garlic in mortar or whirl in blender with the egg.
Add a spoonful of oil, mustard and cayenne. Whirl until egg is mixed.
With the motor running, add the oil in a very slow stream until the mayonnaise is thick. Add the vinegar or lemon juice and salt and whirl again.
Store refrigerated.
