Biscuits and Gravy
List of Ingredients
2 pounds bulk sausage
1 1/2 quarts whole milk
2 tablespoons sausage seasoning
3 cups flour
3 cups water
Salt and pepper
1 bunch parsley, finely chopped
8 baking powder biscuits Recipe
Brown off sausage and drain excess fat. Bring milk to a simmer. Combine flour and water in bowl; whisk long enough to ensure that you have no lumps. When milk comes to a boil, thicken with the flour and water mixture. Bring back to a light boil. Add sausage, seasoning, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slice biscuits in half, place on plate and cover with sausage gravy
Makes enough for a crowd.
