    1/4 C butter
    1 C sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 t salt
    1 t cinnamon
    1 t nutmeg
    1 t baking soda
    1 C flour
    1/2 C chopped nuts
    2 1/2 C diced apples
    1 t vanilla
    2 T hot water

    Recipe



    Combine ingredients in order given. (Batter will be thick). Bake in a greased 9-inch pie pan for 45 minutes at 350F. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, or a slice of Cheddar Cheese
