Banana Cake

List of Ingredients

1 C Sugar
1/2 C Shortening
2 Eggs, room temperature
1 t Vanilla extract
1 C Bananas, mashed
1 C soured Milk
1 t Baking Soda
2 t Baking Powder
2 C Flour




Recipe

Mix first five ingredients together until smooth and well blended.
Add baking soda to the soured milk and stir, milk will foam very rapidly, add to cake mix. Add baking powder and flour and blend well. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan . Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or
until cake tests done. Remove from oven and let cool before removing from the baking pan.
