4 T Flour
1 C Milk
1/2 C Shortening
1 C Sugar
1 Box of Chocolate Cake Mix
1 Can Chocolate Frosting

Bake the cake as directed, in two 8 or 9" pans.
Cook the flour and milk until thick. Set aside and let it get cold.
Beat the shortening and sugar until very smooth (at least 4 minutes) . Then add the cooled mixture and beat another 4 minutes. Add a dash of salt and vanilla to taste.
After the cake has completely cooled add the filling between the layers of cake. Then frost with the chocolate icing. Toothpicks help to keep the cake in place while frosting and makes it not so messy. The cake must be refrigerated before and after serving.
