    Butterscotch Drops

    List of Ingredients




    2 C dark brown sugar
    1/4 C molasses
    1/2 C butter
    2 T water
    2 T cider vinegar

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Boil until the mixture reaches the hard-crack stage, 300F. Drop from a teaspoon onto lightly buttered aluminum foil or marble slab and allow to cool.
    Makes about 1 pound.
