    Rum Raisin Mounds*

    List of Ingredients

    12 oz Box Raisins
    1 C Dark or Light Rum
    12 oz (Real)Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
    1 T Corn Syrup

    Recipe

    Soak raisins in rum 4 hours or overnight (the longer you marinate them, the stronger the flavor).
    Melt chocolate chips with corn syrup in a saucepan.
    Drain raisins (I save the rum and reuse it) and stir into melted chocolate.
    Drop by teaspoonsful into tiny muffin cups or onto wax paper. Chill until firm.
    Makes about 1 # or 65 candies.
    Pack in pretty tins or boxes for adult gift giving.
    These are perhaps my favorite candy. And SO easy to make!
