    Any flavor regular cake mix
    8 oz carton desert topping (such as Cool Whip)
    1 egg

    Blend together with spatula till all is smooth. I tried using a mixer but the recipe became very gummy and difficult to work with.

    Drop by spoonsful on cookie sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
    Bake at 350 F 17-20 minutes for chewie cookies.
    Bake at 350 F 20-23 minutes for crisp cookies.

    Variations:

    Chocolate cake mix, chocolate chips
    French vanilla cake mix, toasted coconut
    Lemon cake mix, poppy seeds
    Spice cake mix, coarsely chopped dried fruit
