Chocolate Sugar Cookies

1/2 C unsalted Butter, softened
3/4 C Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 t Vanilla
1 T Milk
2 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate, melted
1-1/4 C Flour
1/4 t Baking Powder
1/4 t Salt
Powdered Sugar for dusting
Recipe
Heat oven to 375.
In bowl, with mixer at high speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg, vanilla, milk and chocolate. On sheet of waxed paper, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Sift into butter mixture; mix. Roll 1 T dough into ball; place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough, spacing balls 1 inch apart.
Flatten balls slightly with bottom of a glass; bake 8 minutes. Cool on rack; dust with powdered sugar.
Makes 48 cookies.
