    ½ C butter, softened
    ½ C sugar
    1 egg
    1-1/3 C all-purpose flour
    ½ t baking soda
    1/8 t ground cardamom
    ½ C finely chopped hazelnuts


    Recipe



    In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg. Combine the flour, baking soda and cardamom; add to creamed mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Shape into 1-inch balls; roll in chopped nuts. Place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Remove to wire racks to cool.
