    1 C butter or margarine
    1 C white sugar
    1 C molasses
    2 eggs
    1 t cinnamon
    3 1/2 C flour
    1 t ginger
    2 t baking soda
    1 t salt
    1/2 C cold water

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Mix in molasses. Add dry ingredients alternately with the water. Mix until blended. Add 1 C raisins, if desired. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 -12 min @ 375. Remove from oven and cool. Frost.
    Makes 6 dozen
