Boeuf Bourguignon
List of Ingredients
Vegetable cooking spray
3 # beef rump or chuck cut into 1 1/2" cubes
1 large carrot peeled and sliced
1 medium onion sliced
3 T flour
2 C beef stock
1 T tomato paste
2 cloves garlic minced
1 T thyme
1 t tarragon
1 bay leaf
1/2 # white onions peeled or 1 jar
white onions
1 pound mushrooms sliced
1/2 C red or burgundy wine
Recipe
Heat skillet and coat with cooking spray. Brown beef,
carrots and onion well. Add flour and beef stock. Mix well.
Transfer to crockpot. Add tomato paste, garlic, thyme,
tarragon, bay leaf and onions. Cover and cook on low 8-10
hours. Add mushrooms and wine about 1 hour before serving.
Serves 8.
