Pork Butt*
List of Ingredients
1 Pork Butt, or Fresh Ham (not smoked) any size
2 T Olive Oil
1 t Oregano
1 t Garlic Powder
Freshly ground Pepper
1 C Chicken Broth, Canned or homemade
Recipe
Rub Roast with Olive Oil, season with Garlic Powder, Herbs and Pepper.
Brown off meat on all sides in skillet or vessel. Transfer to crockpot that has been sprayed with Vegetable spray. Add Chicken Broth.
Cook all day (6-8 hours) on Low.
Great with Mashed Potatoes, a Veggie of choice and Applesauce.
This is a favorite of mine. The meat falls off the bone and any leftovers make wonderful Sandwiches with bottled BBQ Sauce.
