Chocolate Cherry Poundcake Dessert
List of Ingredients
1 (Sara Lee) Chocolate Pouncake, thawed
1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1 C Whipped Cream Recipe
Remove cake from tin and slice cake in 1/2 horizontally. Place one layer on a pretty plate.
Drain cherries, reserving sauce for ice cream, etc. Set aside 32 cherries.
Arrange remaining cherries on bottom cake layer. Top with top layer of cake.
Frost with whipped cream.
Arrange the 32 cherries on top of cake in rows of fours.
Refrigerate until serving time.
Slice thin (about 1") to serve.
