Baked Chocolate Custard
List of Ingredients
3 C Milk
1 Square Unsweetened Chocolate, Shaved
1 1/2" Stick Cinnamon
3 Eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 C Sugar
1/8 t Salt
Recipe
Combine Milk, Chocolate and Cinnamon in a saucepan. Heat slowly; remove cinnamon. Beat mixture with mixer or egg beater until smooth.
Add beaten Eggs, Sugar and Salt. Strain into a vegetable sprayed casserole. Place casserole in a pan of hot water.
Bake @ 325* about 40 minutes. Test with a knife to ensure doneness.
This can also be baked in individual custard cups, if desired.
