4 C peeled and sliced Apples (I used Macs)
1/4 C Orange Juice
1 C Sugar
3/4 C Flour
1 /2 t Cinnamon
1/4 t Nutmeg
1 stick (1/2 C) Butter or Margarine
Recipe
Place apples in a greased 9 inch pie plate. Drizzle with the orange juice. Combine flour, sugar and spices. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in a 375F oven about 45 minutes or apples tender and topping is crisp. Serve warm or room temperature with ice cream.
