Jamaican Rum Custard
List of Ingredients
2 C Milk
5 Eggs, beaten
2 T Brown Sugar
1 T Cornstarch
1/4 C Dark Rum
Freshly Whipped CreamRecipe
Bring Milk to a boil, stirring constantly.
Combine Eggs, Sugar and Cornstarch; add to the hot Milk and cook without boiling, until the mixture is thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in Rum. Pour into sherbet glasses and chill until set.
Serve garnished with Whipped Cream.
Serves 5.
