    Confectioner's Sugar

    1/2 cup of granulated sugar
    1/2 T cornstarch for each 1/2 cup of powdered sugar

    Recipe



    In a food processor, whirl 1/2 cup of granulated sugar at a time, on the highest speed for about 2 minutes. Stopping occasionally to redistribute sugar. Continue until the granulated sugar turns into powdered sugar. If you will be storing the powdered sugar, to prevent lumping mix in 1/2 Tablespoon of cornstarch for each 1/2 cup of powdered sugar. (Store bought powdered sugar already has cornstarch in it).
    1/2 cup of granulated sugar will make about 3/4 of a cup of powdered sugar.
