Hard Icing for Cookies
List of Ingredients
2 C Confectioner's Sugar
Hot Water
1/2-1 t Flavoring Extract (Vanilla, Mint, Almond, etc)
Food Coloring, optRecipe
For each 2 cups of Sugar, add Hot Water to reach desired consistency: 3T to make a thick spreadable Icing.
Then, stir in Flavoring and Food Coloring, if desired.
To use for piping: add more Water to thin Icing.
