    Butter Buds

    List of Ingredients




    6 med. potatoes
    2 packets Butter Buds (1/2 oz. each)
    1/4 C diced onions
    3 T all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 C skim milk
    1/8 t pepper Paprika

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 quart casserole dish using low-calorie non-stick coating agent. Peel potatoes and cut into slices 1/8-1/4 inch thick. In a small bowl combine Butter Buds, onions, flour and pepper, mix well. In casserole dish arrange potatoes in 4 layers, sprinkling each of first 3 layers with 1/4 Butter buds onion mixture. Add the fourth layer of potatoes and sprinkle top with remaining Butter Buds mixture. Heat milk to scalding, pour over potatoes. Cover and bake 30 minutes. Uncover, bake 55-60 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender and sauce is thickened. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with paprika.
