Pork Chops, Easy Supper
List of Ingredients
4 Pork Chops
Garlic Powder
Freshly ground Black Pepper
1 can condensed Tomato Soup
1/2 C Water
1 t Worcestershire Sauce
Three medium Potatoes quartered
1/2 t Salt
4 small Carrots, opt.
1 T dry Onion Flakes
Recipe
Season Chops with Garlic and Pepper.
Salt and heat a large skillet until very hot.
Sear Chops on both sides, pour off any fat. Either push chops to one side or remove to a plate while following next step.
Lower heat; adding water first, scrape up brownings from bottom of pan, then add rest of ingredients. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until potatoes are cooked and chops are tender.
Serves 4
Note:
I prefer to thickly slice the potatoes and lay them under the chops to simmer in the sauce.
Fresh steamed broccoli and applesauce are nice accompaniments to this.
