1 # sirloin tip
2 T flour
dash of dry mustard
2 T butter or margarine
1/4 C chopped green onion
1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms
1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed consomme
1/4 C dry red wine (opt)
1 t Worcestershire sauce
Chopped parsley
Recipe
Cut sirloin across the grain in slices about 1/8 inch thick; sprinkle with flour and mustard. Brown meat in butter; add onion and mushrooms; cook a few minutes longer. Stir in consomme, wine, and Worcestershire; simmer 15 minutes or until sauce is desired consistency. Stir occasionally. Garnish with parsley.
