    Sesame-Crusted Pork Loin

    1 T reduced sodium soy sauce
    1 T honey
    1 T toasted sesame oil
    1/4 t ground ginger
    1/2 te garlic powder
    1/2 t salt
    1 # pork tenderloin
    2 T sesame seeds

    Recipe



    Preheat the oven to 475 degrees. Coat a roasting dish with a rack with cooking spray.
    Combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic powder and salt in a baking dish. Roll tenderloin in mixture until completely coated.
    Spread the seeds on a dinner plate. Roll the pork in the seeds until evenly coated. Transfer pork to the prepared roasting pan. Roast for 20 minutes, or until an instant-read meat thermometer inserted in the center of the roast registers 145 degrees. Remove roast from pan and place it on a carving board.
    Let pork rest 5 minutes, then cut on the diagonal into thin slices.
    Makes 4 servings
    For each serving, 212 calories, 2.5 g. protein, 5 g carbohydrates, 1 g
    fiber, 10g fat, (2 g saturated fat) 74 mg. cholesterol, 499 mg. sodium.
