    Pork Loin, Braised Chinese (Stovetop)*

    List of Ingredients

    3 # Boned Pork Loin
    1 Clove Garlic, minced
    1 t Salt
    1/4 t Freshly Ground Black Pepper
    2 T Honey
    1/4 C Soy Sauce
    1 C Beef Broth
    2 T Dry Sherry
    1 1/2 # Fresh Spinach, washed & drained

    Recipe

    Rub Pork with Garlic, Salt & Pepper. In a deep skillet or heavy saucepan, brown pork on all sides. Pour off all but 2 T of the fat.
    Mix together the Honey, Soy Sauce, Broth and Sherry; pour over Pork. Bring to boil, then lower heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hrs or until tender. Baste and turn the Pork frequently.
    Remove meat to platter and slice. Cook Spinach in the Gravy 2 minutes. Surround Pork with Spinach on platter.
    Serves 4-6

    This is good served with Steamed Rice and Glazed Carrots.
