    Yummy Salisbury Steak*

    List of Ingredients

    Patty Mixture:
    1 # Lean ground Beef or Turkey
    4 Green Onions, minced
    1 Clove Garlic, pressed
    1 T Flour
    1 t Beef Granules (I used 1 crushed bouillon cube)
    1 Dash Worcestershire Sauce
    Gravy Mixture:
    Pan Juices + 2 T Fat to make 4 T
    2 T Flour
    1 1/2 C Cold Water
    2 t Beef Granules (I used 2 crushed bouillon cubes)
    4 oz Canned sliced Mushrooms (or 5 fresh)
    Onion Powder to taste
    S & P to taste

    Recipe

    Form patties with first 6 ingredients.
    Melt 2 T Butter and saute patties until done to your liking. Remove from pan and keep warm.
    To the pan drippings, add flour and cook until caramel colored, taking care not to burn it.
    Add beef granules and cold water and stir slowly with a whisk until smooth and thickened.
    Add mushrooms and seasonings to taste.
    Return patties to pan and coat with gravy.
    These are wonderful served with mashed potatoes and a green vegetable such as steamed broccoli.
